Rum in the Coconut

  • Silver rum
  • Coconut milk
  • Thai basil
  • Lime juice
  • Ice

Muddle some Thai basil leaves in a small amount of lime juice. Pour in rum, coconut milk, & then ice. Stir & garnish with a Thai basil stem. Enjoy! I drank this delicious treat in honor of World Coconut Day, September 2nd.

NOTE: The only suggestion is using 0.5 oz of lime juice because when using more you begin altering the taste a lot in a lime/citrus direction that’s hard to combat after too much is put in.

*There is no need for exact measurements otherwise because everyone’s taste is different & with that considered everyone should enjoy it in the way they like most. Also with every different direction another form of this delectable beverage is created!
